Volunteer at Applefest 2026!
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Applefest Volunteer Partnership Program!
The Volunteer Partnership Program invites businesses, community organizations, healthcare providers, service clubs, and other groups to support Applefest by volunteering as a team for this years festival (Saturday, September 26th, 2026)!
There are three main locations where we need volunteer assistance. Please see below for a brief description of each.
Volunteers will be provided with lunch and refreshments during their shifts in addition to an after event celebration at Northumberland Fine Foods on October 1st at 6pm.
High school students are eligible to receive Volunteer Hours in exchange for hours worked.
Street Fair Volunteers (2 shifts, 6am to 12pm or, 12pm to 6pm)
- directing vendors to booth spaces in the morning before the Street Fair opens
- working with Street Fair Coordinators to ensure event runs smoothly throughout the day
- being a point of contact to help direct and provide visitors and residents with information on Applefest shuttle bus services, events, local attractions and local orchards
- guding vendors out of their spaces to the nearest exit at the end of the day
Children’s Village (2 shifts, 6am to 12pm or, 12pm to 6pm)
- helping to supervise and ensure safety at Children’s Village activities
- being a point of contact to help direct and provide visitors and residents with information on Applefest shuttle bus services, events, local attractions and local orchards
- working with Children’s Village Coordinators to ensure event runs smoothly throughout the day
Car Show (2 shifts, 6am to 12pm or, 12pm to 6pm)
- directing cars into Car Show from main road and assisting in parking cars during set up of show
- being a point of contact to help direct and provide visitors and residents with information on Applefest shuttle bus services, events, local attractions and local orchards
- working with Car Show Coordinators to ensure event runs smoothly throughout the day

The person submitting the form is responsible for gathering emergency contact information for all volunteers representing their organization.
