Register for the Mayor's 14th Annual Keep the County Clean Challenge
Spring is fast approaching, and this year the Municipality of Brighton is once again participating in Northumberland County’s “Keep the County Challenge”. In it's 14th year, the Challenge will run from Sunday, April 21st th to Saturday, April 27th communities across the County. The Challenge is aimed at cleaning up litter from parks, roadside ditches, nature trails and neighbourhoods.
Last year, Brighton had 450 volunteers participate in the challenge respresenting schools, community groups and neighbourhoods.This year, the Municipality of Brighton has a goal of having 500 community members participate in the challenge.
To participate in the Challenge, participants are required to register their party and proposed-clean-up area, and complete the County’s Waiver Form. Supplies will be available for pick-up at the Municipality of Brighton’s Administration Building at 35 Alice Street, Public Works Building at 67 Sharp Road and the Brighton and Codrington Branches of the Library.
